two month pediatrician visit

Sunday, September 21, 2014

this past friday, the little guy had his two month dr visit. his stats:

height: 23 1/4 inches (52%)
weight: 12 lb 9 oz (61%)
head circumference: 15 1/2 inches (27%)

he's definitely jumped up in terms of percentile as compared to his first dr visit here. i know that some kids have to be on the lower end, and there is nothing wrong with that, but i keep hoping he'll be bigger than kids his age. reading mom forums confirms the fact that we all hope our kids are on the higher end.

he's started smiling a lot more now and he is loving his swing and rock n play. he will stare at the little lamb mobiles on the swing and rock n play for a very long time. it's the funniest thing since it's almost like he is having a staring contest with them. he can fall asleep in both which hasn't always been the case. i have noticed that over the course of the past 2 months, his temperament has changed. he is a lot calmer now and always seems to be thinking. he is definitely a good baby, crying only when hungry, tired, or poopy. he makes cute little faces and loves when we talk to him.

we haven't experienced anymore diaper rashes since the ones when he was really new. i change him quite frequently right when he poo and pee, for fear of diaper rashes. he doesn't like being dirty so he doesn't have a problem letting me know.

it makes me really sad to think that i'll be leaving him soon. the past two months have flown by. i love waking up and hanging out with my little guy.

here's to a great week!

  1. I love the photo at the bottom of your post, Kaolee! Anyway, it's good to hear that your little guy is growing healthier by the day. He really does seem like a good little baby, by the look he has in the photos, of course. Hahaha! Anyway, thanks for sharing all about your happy little bundle of joy! All the best to you and your family! :)
